At the core there must be the following philosophy; Consistency. We want members to participate in the vast majority of our events however, retraining different people for every encounter does not support our raiding goals. Having the same people every week will allow us to spend less time on setup strategies, and lower the learning curve for content.

  • DKP will be used for all of our raids of 25-man raids.
  • If you want to participate in a raid, you must sign up and commit to the raid on the website. You are only guaranteed a spot in the raid if you sign up and are on time.
  • First pull for raids is exactly at the stated start time (server time). Invites for scheduled raids are 30 minutes prior to the stated start time. Waiting list invites go out at 15 minutes before and general invites follow shortly after. We will summon using the summon stone only. Warlocks are not to burn their shards summoning you.
  • We expect to have a good class balance for all raids. If you would like to change your main to an alt, it will be allowed as long as class balance permits. We will ask that you continue to play your old main until a replacement can be found.

The following are mandatory add-ons and you will not be allowed to raid without them. These add-ons must be installed and in working order. If you do not know how to install add-ons, please contact a Class Leader or Officer for help. Excuses of why these are not installed and in working order are not tolerated.

  • Raid Frames - Pitbull, CTMod, ORA2, Grid or equivalent. The guild generally uses Pitbull and Grid (healers, de-cursers)
  • Threat Meter - The guild general uses Omen.
  • Boss Mods - Deadly Boss Mods or Bigwigs are acceptable. The guild generally uses Bigwigs.

Everyone in the raid must have the following potions/consumables. We don’t raid every night, so there is plenty of off time to get prepared:

  • Healing and/or Mana potions
  • Class appropriate Flasks/Elixirs to sustain up to 4 hours of raiding.
  • Class appropriate Well Fed Food to sustain up to 4 hours of raiding.
  • Class buffing reagents
  • Resistance potions
  • Be fully repaired for the raid.

When you signup for a raid, we all expect you to stay the duration of the raid. We understand that circumstances may require that you leave the raid early however, notify the raid leader beforehand and do not expect your raid spot to be kept until you return. The following behavior will have you removed from raids and may eventually be removed from the raid group;

  • Showing up late
  • Unannounced AFK’s
  • Constant disconnects
  • Not paying attention to instructions
  • Questioning Raid Leader/Officer instructions (including strats).

All epic BOE items not purchased from a raid will be held in the guild bank for one week for members to purchase with DKP. After the one week period, the item will be sold to finance raid/guild.

Raiders are in this guild for the purpose of raiding. Raiding/grouping with another group or guild during our raiding nights is not permitted and is grounds for removal from the guild.

Voice chat is not mandatory, however when voice chat is used keep the chatter to a minimum, this includes raid chat. We need these lines of communication open to relay pertinent information to the raid.

Finally, a raid is not the time to question the strategies being used on a particular encounter. If you do not agree with the way we run an encounter, post your thoughts on the website for everyone to read and discuss at a less stressful time. Argumentatively questioning the directions of the raid leader during a raid may lead to your removal from the raid or even the guild.
