Warriors and Wrath

Ok it has to my attention that a few Wrath pieces are already up for grabs to non tanks. There are some pieces where only 1 tank needs em then its open. Here is alist of whats open and what isnt

Bracelets of Wrath - OPEN
Breastplate of Wrath - OPEN
Gauntlets of Wrath - Ragekage needs
Helm of Wrath - OPEN
Legplates of Wrath - Henk needs
Pauldrons of Wrath - OPEN
Sabatons of Wrath - OPEN
Waistband of Wrath - OPEN

So basically these OPEN status Wrath will be opened up for non tanks and we will go through the regular tiers Buyout/Positive/Negative.

Do I count as a non-tank?(yes, I respec too much) Got 420ish def, 315+ FR, 250+ SR, just haven't been spec'd for it lately cause its seems pointless with all the def gear defaulting to vahl/rage/sword/dirk. Me as a fifth tank seemed redundant if I was gonna be on the bottom of the totem pole anyways, might as well have a lil dps to contribute instead of being an otherwise useless member of the raid.

Question.

I know we have identified Ragekage, Valh, and Sword as the MT
I know we have been passing Wrath to Dirk to as the sub if one of the MT are not there.
Are we also passing it to Henk as well?

I just want to check to see because I would like to start getting some to as I can be more utilized as a OT. I am sure there are others that would like to do so to.

Not a big deal ether way just want to be on the same page as everyone.

yea i vote wai next, its almost hearthbreaking him putting so much time grabbing the best gear out of every dungeon for any situation compared to me that proceeded ninjaing any piece of purple tank suit to build my tanking gear and skipping a lot of blue gear pieces for exemple (can you believe that all DM wings combine i have been to that place 7 times only ?)

+ the fact that the guy seriously knows how to play and see when we need an additional tank and he is here but the ctra master grab some unknown guy out of the blue (being also the color of the gear of the guy) and most of the time people dont think about him

poor wittle waijin left out in the cold

waijin in the main tank list 2006 !!!

i only counted Legplates of Wrath for Henk since hes pretty much taken over MT-ing in MC and doh Legplates of Wrath drops in MC. As for BWL wrath pieces Henk will have to fight it out with the rest. And besides Wx i shouldnt hear you complaining we tanks have passed on all dps pieces. Just like you guys only time well be getting dps pieces is if and when every dps warrior has them, and Wrath is very close to being open for all

as for Waijin when we were pushing for BWL he suddenly disappeared otherwise he would have been in the core tank group

No please do not mistake my questions. Sorry if I put them badly.

I just want to know who is trying to get what. I am not trying to take wrath from anyone. I am dps and I dont want to take wrath from others that want it badly.

I was only asking because I wanted to make sure. You say pass to every other warrior in the raid I am good with that. Only reason I would roll is so I would be better equipped to OT if needed. Nothing else.

So I have one piece of Might so far, if a Wrath piece falls and gets to the neg roll section would my rolling on it be frowned on?

Or should I make sure that no other Warriors want it in Neg and then roll on it?

Since my going deeper into Negative gives the Raid more DKP I have no problem picking up the Plate scraps that are left over when everyone else is done picking.

I haven't been playing much because I'm pretty much limited to weekend play based on being on the West Coast and weeknight raids starting one hour before I even get home. Now it seems like we are doing less on weekends so I can't even look forward to MC weekend runs anymore.

Now, I've made it clear that I was full protect even before Waijin took a break from tanking... and for the past three months, I've seen a number of non-tank warriors as well as new warriors rolling on Might. Yes, I'm still struggling to get a few blue slots upgraded to Might. So when I see that a few Wrath pieces are "open" for all warriors, I'm wondering what's going on? Why am I not on any tank list, for Wrath or Might or Dark Iron gear?

By nature, I don't like to force the issue. That's just my character, as those who know me can verify. However much I love to tank, I will remain flexible to the needs of the guild. If the team wants me to tank, I will do my best. If they want someone else to, then that's fine by me as well. However, lets be fair and consistent about equipment policies.

Now nothing can be done about the time zone variances, but perhaps you can be a little more more fair and consistent with distributing upgrades for all classes.

BTW, I totally agree with OZ about Waijin. Wai has taught me everything I know about tanking. As far as I am concerned, he is one warrior I would gladly defer equipment to.

Taurreg were you on the MC I was on where I picked up the Pauldrons of Might in the Negative? Were you there as your Hunter or as your Warrior? Did you Roll on them? At the time nothing was being said about them in the ooctanks channel so I figured they were fair game. I could have held off if I had known you were wanting them because I was wearing Stockade Pauldrons.

If that was something you wanted I apologize, I did not know.

Naw, I wasn't at MC that time, but that's not the point I was making. The point I was making is that we don't seem to have a consistent policy that is published. Perhaps it's because most people in the guild are beyond MC and soon BWL as well, and whatever policies in place before just aren't being enforced as closely anymore.

List is updated as you can see pretty much almost every piece except gauntlets and bp is now OPEN status. We now have three 7/8 Tanks and 1 8/8 Tank

i am sorry but i cannot give priority for wrath items anymore. a lot of ppl whos been raiding a while had to wait for 4 tanks to get geared in Wrath before they can roll on it. And adding another one i dont think its gonna be fair for those whos been waiting. Anyway there is only 1 piece of wrath that is reserved for a tank and that is the Gauntlets for Ragekage. Other than that every piece is free for others to roll on.
