Well I have my Itemrack boss suit all ready to go all the time, I can usually get away with 0% resist or something like less than 1%.

I think I am RIGHT On the cusp of where I need to be, if maybe a touch over, will bounce some numbers off Dave when I have it infront of me.

Wooo group dynamic is really everything... 1098 instant DPS on Mag and 1010 instant DPS on Lurker... next step increasing the DPS time

I am happy with how I did my first time on Mag, still working on a good plan for Lurker though, have to try to be on the main island to get my Water Elemental into the fight more.

Well, AM spam with the casting speed meta gem, coupled with Judgment of Wisdom and a Shadow Priest really is as awesome as its been billed.

Now to refine the way I play with it.

That meta gem is so hax, it means Chao can occasionally beat me on dps even when I am using knowledge of the fight, and all my tricks.

Give it a week or two Melic. This WILL be "changed" (read NERFED IN THE ASS) Even though the build is highly dependant on group make up and constant use of mana pots etc, I don't think blizz will be comfortable with mages being able to do raid level damage :p

Also, this all may change again with the damage tax on fireball and frostbolt biting the dust in 2.3 or sooner. Its a constant evolution my friends.

Supposedly, from the EJ crazy mage theorists, even with the damage tax removal AM spam will be ~= to deep fire's fireball spam if played by people with their appropiated gear and equivalent skill. Also once we have Bek trained in JoW spam for AM spam and with Spriest you shouldn't need to chain chug mana pots in order to produce the DPS.

LOL.. thanks Super, though I'm sure that thanks should be spread out amongst the pallies. :) I admit, I'm still getting used to a few fights, but on Gruul & VR, JoW should be up almost all the time. The ones I'm gettin' more used to are Mag and Lurker... just due to my positioning and how many things I'm tryin' to keep goin' in my head.

Man, dps Gruul's Lair as enhancement and still come out #1 on healing across the whole raid.
I hope they buff Chain Heal, because Shaman suck ass as healers, just ask the Stormrage PuGgers.

On another note, Jaga kicked the asses of a few "pure DPSers" so I assume he has himself a nice secure spot when he bothers to show up :)
