It's been a while

Heya OoC it's been a long, long time. Like well over a year since I last played. I'm stupidly getting back into the game, maybe as an exercise of self control but I'm coming back anyways.

Other than my friend Joe's (Azami) incessant nagging, my next largest reason for comming back is that I miss you guys. I worked hard to be with you guys not to progress as a raider or get good loot, but because I liked you guys and that you guys almost seemed like a family. Mind you, we make a very messed up and horribly wrong family at times, but thats why I love you guys.

As for the space between the gap, I worked a lot at the airport and still do on the weekends now. I just finished my midterms and have some time to kill, hence me being here again. However I won't be able to log on untill my new video card comes in because my old one decided to smoke it's self doing non-graphic heavy things. I have no idea what happened to it, there aren't any burns or anything on it but it dosn't display anything that dosn't look like a scrambled cable porn channel. I'm glad I'm back you guys.

I saw that, Charcy is still in the guild so I guess I'm more or less OK for that. Really the only reason I had my alts in the guild was so I can talk to you guys while I screw around. I'll see about getting them in later, it would be nice but I'm not going to make an issue about it.

Oddly enough WoW seems to work without a video card, I'm kinda iffy on that but we'll see, I'm expecting a new card in a few days anyways.

Charcy is still in guild? Not to sound insulting, but how did you avoid getting her kicked if you've been out of game so long?

BTW, we still don't know what the hell your avatar is.

It's something from a Japanese game show ... i think. I just saw it and thought it would make a great avatar.

As for not being gkicked, I gave my account to Joe and he'd use Charcy to heal every now and then when you guys needed someone.

Kinjite, hows your fire fighting going? Before I left you were about to graduate with some kick ass honors from your class (I think you said 97%). Did you get picked up by a station yet or are you still looking?

No, I still have the classes, honors, etc. but with all the crap going on I just can't get hired on. On the plus side I got hired on as an insurance agent at a big pay hike. Unfortunately it does mean I can't play WOW during the day like I used to at work, but C'est La Vie.

I guess, are the job prospects as bad as they are around me? In Ontario emergency services are all paid for and controlled by the municipalities they serve, in the case of the city of Mississauga, they haven't hired a new fire fighter in 15 years. I have no idea how their doing as far as paramedics, but if things are as grim as I'm told they are I'd have to move way the hell up north to be readily hired, but like you said, C'est la vie.
