To all the little people (badger's acadamy award speech)
Level 70 had eluded me for so long, but this morning the DING was there.
So, looking back over my journey there are some folks I need to thank for their support. Starting of course with Notary (Getafix/ Mordu, whatever you want to call him) He started me on my way to computer game addiction back when we first met. He giggled over my name (Thistle) and said he played on the Thistledown server of AC, and from there on I was hooked. The guild there was very supportive, and of course when AC2 came out he went on to the new game while I hung out on the old. But AC2's destiny was a sad one (which I will not belabor here) and WoW came out. Before I even tried the game in May of 2006 I was already hooked; just watching him play some low-level dwarf toon that he has since killed off... There were bunnies. Cute bunnies. Cute electronic bunnies that could be made into pets. I vowed then I would have each kind of bunny as my own. He got me the game. It was better than chocolate. My friends all said "Come join our guild" so I need to thank Kinjite, Notintheface, Zevon, XoomXoom (I can't remember her WoW name), Getafix and later, Inocent for playing then; though I can solo, its more fun with friends. The guildies were especially helpful when I was small - Hidden, Luna, Fiona, all of them, plus a few non-guildies like Ashfiles, McHealy, Oogilmar, many more. Thanks especially to the friends from other servers who bought me WoW gift cards when I couldn't afford to support the addiction on my own. Over the last few weeks Dad has taken me under his wing as if I were some personal pet-project of his, and he kept prodding me to keep going. Starina, Eyore, Aimwyn, and Starwind (? not sure if thats the speling) have also been helpful with Rep: And for that last 10,000 xp I especially have to thank Dad, Muffin, Haijin and Bud for taking me to MgT for the Ding. Thank-you, everyone, for being so friendly and supportive. You guys really are the best! |

Yep: snowshoe, brown and wolpertinger. Maybe they'll have more bunnies in Northrend- can't wait to find out. I'm rooting for Almiraj, but unless Blizz has some 1st ed D&D types that remember the old manual, or someone familiar with the old legend Al-mi'raj - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia seriously doubt it
