I intend to level a Druid to 80
Then perhaps play him some more
Then play him a little more
Then maybe just a bit more

Then I will Lev my hunter to 80 so he can make me money. That is when I am not playing my druid.

I plan on going elemental, but if it is needed, I could go resto at 80.

I'll be playing Eins, my resto shaman. I stepped away a while and missed the train to really make Eins my main so WotLK will be the perfect opportunity to do so.

From the look of this thread so far, we will have plenty of resto shammy, plenty of druids and a metric ass ton of DKs, with a healthy side of hunters and warriors. I'm not seeing much paly, mage or lock talk, more so I wonder about the priests tho.

I could also stay with my priest. I just really like the shaman.

In truth the hybrids will be able to cover most slots as effectivly as any of the traditional classes we have relyed on. It should not be an issue.

There seems to be a lack of Ret pallies, and ret pallies are pretty damn amazing. I find this odd, (or the secret isn't out yet these guys totally smash stuff).

I'm thinking about it. I went Ret for kixx for a few months earlier this year. Just afraid of being lumped in with all the other nubs floating around.

Twist my arm, I may comply ;D

I'm not even close to being in a raid with y'all...yet, but Marta's my only girl. She wants to be a warrior tank once she's allowed to play with the big kids.

I don't know how much playing, if any, i'll be doing. I planned on waiting to see how the ret paladin is actually packaged when WotLK is released before i make my decision though. As it stands right now though, I work nights through October so if i do play I could see about changing shifts to raid. Can bring my other comp to my apt and dual box WAR and WoW i guess >.<

I want to play melee myself, so I'm just gonna lvl one :) Ret paly > fury warrior when you really sit down and analyze the two. You can be lumped in with nub Shady, its all good :)

In the end its nice to have people state their intentions. However as we all know play style is a fickle thing, and I expect half of us to change our minds twice between the the content patch and level 75.

No stress guys, as always play what brings you some joy. Or in my case what you have latched onto with a death grip and refuse to give up.

Either motivation is fine!

Exactly what Sudac said. The roster post is not intended to force people into a commitment on what they will play. We just need an idea of what we're going to have and we want to do a better job of keeping track of who makes up OoC :) I'll happily update the post as people change their mind (I fully expect 3-4 more updates just from Shady alone) ;)

I think you're going to like the new fire playstyle =). Anytime you crit 2 fire spells in a row you get an instant pyro.

I've got a whole host of characters that I want to get to 80; some are guilded, some aren't, but WOTLK has re-ignited my interest in the game in a LOT of ways so I'm probably going to try to get 'em all up.

but first and foremost is my main, which is STILL my main, and likely to STAY my main. I might switch over to healing when I hit 80 now that the gearing switch is less drastic and multi-speccing is likely to become a reality, but right now I'm still enjoying good ol' facemelting.

(Now with crit!)

And assuming I can, I do want to raid on this expansion. I'm sad I never really got to experience T5+ content, and definitely want to rectify that this time around.

Oh, and yes, I'll be levelling a DK. But not on this server. My character list is already full. :(

My biggest unknown is if I'm going to start and continue playing a DK come launch before I work on my druid and mage. So that could seriously delay my lvling to 80 and ability to join raids.
