The 4 adds spawn in a square pattern, tanks should be assigned to these guys before hand, to make sure they all get grabbed. Great work today everyone.

Huge grats guys, awesome effort. Yet another indication that skipping content is totally unnecessary.

In that spirit, are we gonna try the first bosses in Hyjal and BT when the attunement is lifted? I bet we could do at least one in each.

And yeah that was an awesome run, he was a lot easier than I expected. Grats to all!

Exactly, we have the truth from the mouth, eh snout, of dolphins.

And to anyone that thought we could not progress, please suck on my big hairy HoLG.

We owe our success tonight to the fact we were totally "Aussie-Free" tonite. Aussies have been holding us back, like an anchor around our necks.

One point of criticism, there were too many gnomes, and the druids all smelled funny. Like canabis.

Maybe but doubtful. Our goal is to see the content and not skip stuff just because we can do something beyond them.

The tentative plan right now is to kill the first 3 bosses in the eye 3-4 weeks in a row (1 week done already) then shift full time to SSC. We'll then work to clear SSC (3 more bosses + vashj) then move back to the eye for Kael.

At that point we'll move on to Hyjal/BT. We might go see some BT/Hyjal stuff while we're working on Vashj or Kael but we don't want to split everyone's focus or get people unmotivated to do T5 content just because we can do some T6 content.

We're moving now. This was a great week. Let's keep it up and we'll be doing the T6 content in no time.

Again, awesome week everyone!

I would "totally" suggest checking out BT before wasting a million gold on the kael/vashj fights. Those are 2 of the most long, drawn out, overpowered bullshit encounters in the game. I know for a fact that we will be able to take the first 3 bosses in BT way before we can kill vashj or kael. Would be silly to waste all our time and effort focused on something we would be better off skipping. I tell ya, running with seasoned vets who had killed them both a handful times put it into perspective, when we would clear SSC in 2 hrs and then wipe to Vashl for another 2. Many weeks, not managing to kill her even after 10+ attempts. But then BT opened and the first handful of bosses all died on day 1.

I'd rather we learn them in some relation to difficulty, instead of blizzards retarded idea of cockblock content. And of course, if I never see the vashj/kael fight in person again, it will be too soon. :)

It's nice to have people that have seen the encounter - but there are quite a number who have not and are likely willing to spend the time to learn and eventually post a first kill.

No doubt, and I wouldn't discourage this. Just stating that given the difficulty of the encounters, we could be farming 3 bosses in BT much, much easier then killing vashj or kael would be. More bosses > less bosses? Nothing says we have to do it all in some special order.

Good work all, only issue I would like to call out is where the hell are my mage brothers? First kill on a boss that is finally frost-immune and all the big talking fire mages decide not to show up?

With all the people last night who were saying some variation of the following:

"I can't believe we weren't even trying Hydross or Al'Ar before."

I find it pretty disappointing that the idea of killing EASY bosses that were designed as free loot for killing Kael and Vashj is being so readily dismissed.

Do we really want to spend 2 months wiping to kill Kael and Vashj, then go into BT and MH and realize we couldve saved a lot of time just by gearing up in there a bit first??

I agree that maybe we should spend a couple more weeks killing 3 in TK and trying to get moro or leo, but would it be so bad to at least go check the stuff out before summer when raiding may die again?

Couldn't you reverse your post and say "I can't believe we passed Vashj and Kael and went to BT when we could have been killing them all along."?

We are not skipping content anymore. We may work in some BT time while we work on Vashj and Kael but we aren't skipping them to come back later. We did the boss skipping for easier pickings and it worked out poorly for us.

We are/will be far better geared than this content was designed for with Arena/ZA/badge gear etc. If we can't beat Vashj and Kael when we get to them it won't be because we just need a little BT loot to get over the hump.

Correct me if I'm wrong but nobody has beaten Kael of Vashj for the first time while wearing BT/Hyjal loot right?

I think that the officers are on the right track with how raiding is going right now. The raiding team is getting "used to raiding again" for the more difficult encounters by clearing TK and SSC of the other bosses before working on Vashj and Kael, which makes sense.

As far as skipping Vashj and Kael completely, no I wouldn't want that. I'd like to experience it and rack it up as another milestone for ORDER OF CHAOS. Have pride in the guild, guys. We end up with better quality players/applicants when they see our guild ranked higher amongst all the other guild choices. Once we kill each once, I could care less whether we ever fight them again...OOC has already had its way with them at that point. And no i'm not saying this because I want items off either boss, neither of them drop anything I plan on using.

After we kill those clowns, (or worst case scenario get frustrated from trying) then lets hit Hyjal and eventually BT.

Ask again in 2.4, you can't get into BT/MH without killing them right now.

That was exactly my point. Merely stating that there's nothing in BT/MH that we need to beat them. I understand the draw of going to BT/MH and picking off the easy bosses for quick loot. Shady is on the right track of where we are going. Don't expect us to farm Kael/Vashj but they are not beyond OoC capabilities and we're going to focus on them before moving into the T6 realm.

At the very least we're going to give it the old college try before moving on past them. I think we can all agree we've spent too much time letting content beat us because it's too hard when we haven't even tried it ourselves yet.

Are they hard? Sure. Are they too hard for us? I don't think they are.
